Hema Simanjuntak
Hema specialises in the private law, administrative law, industrial relations, and commercial dispute areas of litigation before the general court, administrative court and arbitral tribunal. Hema also has gained many experiences in certain non-litigation areas since years 2014 – 2018 such as corporate and M&A, corporate secretarial works and foreign & local companies set-up. He received his cum laude law degree from Atma Jaya Catholic University and pursue his post graduate degree on business law from Gadjah Mada University.
Hema is one of the founder of Barnabas Hema & Partners Law Firm and hold an important role on the firm management currently. He obtained his advocate licence in 2017 from the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). Before established his own firm, Hema was a former associate at William & Hendrik Law Office since 2017-2022, also in 2017, he was chosen as a scholarship awardee for a Leadership & Public Policy Conference, hosted by the Geneva Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (GILPP) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Hema is also involved in organizational activities such as PERADI FC (Football Club), the Indonesian Bar Association (AAI DPC Central Jakarta) and Amicus Curiae (an advocation (pro-bono) community).
